North Korea’s Monstrous Regime: The Mystery of Its 74-Year Longevity

This article was originally posted on Jayu Press and translated by OKN Correspondent.

There is one surprising fact: North Korea is the second-longest existing communist country after Vietnam. Vietnam, which was founded in 1945, is 77 years old, and North Korea, which was founded in 1948, is 74 years old. It also has a great record in world history. North Korea tied with the former Soviet Union, which dissolved in 1991 after the Russian Revolution. The People’s Republic of China, which was founded in 1949, is always a step behind North Korea. However, the de facto communist system first appeared in North Korea in February 1946 when the People’s Committee of North Korea was established. This organization was a state power and had full administrative-legislative-judicial powers.

If so, it means that the founding of North Korea is 76 years old, but there is another important factor—by all accounts, they’ve endured confrontation with the powerful United States despite having the worst anti-humanitarian and anti-civilized system, and have been holding firm against South Korea, the most successful nation [to develop] since World War II. That is the mystery. Moreover, it has ICBMs that can reach the continental U.S. Regardless of its cyber warfare capabilities and what they’ve done, it’s terrifying that they have a lineup of the most powerful weapons, including hypersonic missiles, in its final stage [of development].

The reality is that this beggar country, which is only one-seventieth of South Korea’s national power, currently makes the Republic of Korea shake in its boots. They’ve even toyed with Moon Jae-in, by lowering him as the “southern president.” What did Kim Kuk-song, a former North Korean spy from the Reconnaissance General Bureau, testify? He warned that North Korea’s requisition of South Korea was on its ninth point. This author believes that we can be stabbed in the back if we continue to be optimistic that a vulnerable North Korea will collapse soon. If so, now is the time to tell the truth that the world turns a blind eye to. The Republic of Korea is actually a hostage state or a colonial system of North Korea. Since the start of the Moon Jae-in administration, it has been on the verge of solidifying into a frightening pro-North Korean regime.

And, as you all know, we should not forget the paradox that North Korea is still breathing because of the help of the Jusapa faction (a political faction within South Korea’s student movements in the 1980s that supports the North Korean political ideology known as Juche). It was the South Korean leftists who helped [North Korea] endure the Arduous March (period of mass starvation in North Korea) in 1995. There is something like that in the back of this child, Kim Yo-jong’s verbal attack on South Korea. In other words, it is contempt for the Republic of Korea, which is a fool who cannot distinguish between us and them. What do you think? In that regard, a major reversal should take place within the five years of the Yoon Seok-youl administration, and it is time to discuss this publicly. We must now help solve the mystery of North Korea’s monstrous regime, and how to end and liberate [the people] from this tyrannical regime.
