How to Overcome North Korea’s Nuclear Threats and South Korea’s Political Implosion Crisis?

While the solution to the problem of North Korea’s denuclearization remains a dilemma, the free Republic of Korea and the ROK-U.S. alliance are in crisis. Despite the inter-Korean and the U.S.-North Korea summits, numerous conversations and negotiations, economic sanctions, military pressure, and the leaders’ commitments to denuclearization, North Korea’s nuclear missile threats are ever-increasing. The inhumane criminal gang of the Kim, Jong-un regime has been developing nuclear weapons, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) and submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) systems, and it now claims to be in the final stages of completing its “nuclear force”.

However, the Moon, Jae-in administration in South Korea is turning a blind eye to North Korea’s breaking of its promises without any explanation to the Korean people and our allies. Furthermore, ahead of the general elections, Moon did not protest against the North’s numerous provocations violating the September 19 Inter-Korean Military Agreement, which prohibits reciprocal antagonism, and the North’s violations of U.N. Security Council resolutions. Viewed as a liar by the people and our allies, and mocked by North Korea as a “boiled ox head” and “frightened dog,” the Moon administration consistently pursues its false peace show and humiliating diplomacy because its purpose is somewhere else. This is because Moon, who appointed unconverted socialist Cho, Kuk as attorney general, is seeking to implement a low-level federal unification system with North Korea before the end of his presidential term.

As a result, we are experiencing a frightful civil war between, on the one hand, the pro-North Korean leftist Moon regime and on the other hand the citizens of Korea who are struggling to defend their free democracy and market economy system against anti-state forces, and who favor taking a strong stand against nuclear-armed North Korean communists. From the “Druking” case, which was a public opinion rigging scandal, to the Blue House’s involvement in a local election to help make Moon’s friend the Mayor of Ulsan Metropolitan City, and now even to the suspicion of rigging the results of the general elections, public trust in the Moon administration has been greatly undermined to the extent that many are worried about the implosion of the nation.

Kim, Jong-un was accused last year of violating the Act on the Punishment of Crimes under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court for genocide and crimes against humanity. Former and incumbent defense ministers Song, Young-moo and Chung, Kyung-doo have been accused of the crimes of aiding the enemy and damaging the ROK’s security posture by endorsing the Inter-Korean Military Agreement. Moon, Jae-in also has been charged by patriotic civic groups with sedition and the crime of aiding the enemy. These unprecedented developments represent the seriousness of the situation.

While the Moon regime has lied to the people and our allies about its supposed commitment to “denuclearizing Korean Peninsula,” North Korea has already entered the stage of complete nuclear weapons development instead of nuclear program dismantlement. North Korea’s nuclear missile threats, coupled with the Chinese Coronavirus (COVID-19) and a terrible economic crisis, mean that South Korea is heading toward an implosion. The causes of these crises are the Moon regime’s efforts to establish a socialist state and enshrine its permanent influence by using the hereditary dictatorship of North Korea as its ally.

The North Korean regime lost its conventional war capability a long time ago. So Kim, Jong-un has devoted himself to developing asymmetric weapons of mass destruction (WMD), which his predecessors, Kim, Il-sung and Kim, Jong-il, had steadily pushed for decades. This was for the purpose of securing an invincible weapon that South Korea does not possess, and to use it as a game changer. Since it is easy for the North to handle the pro-North leftists of the Moon regime, the North’s remaining headache is the United States. After all, the essence of the North Korean nuclear crisis is the development of ICBMs and SLBMs to curb U.S. power and weaken the ROK-U.S. alliance.

Therefore, the most effective and decisive solution to eliminate North Korea’s nuclear missile threats and protect the Republic of Korea from a socialist dictatorship and anti-state forces is to eliminate the Kim-Moon cooperative regime, which is the cause of the crisis. The strategic center of gravity of South Korea, which is the ROK-U.S. alliance, should be secured, and that of North Korea, which is the dictatorial system of Kim, Jong-un, should be dismantled.

North Korea’s hereditary dictatorship has focused all of its capabilities on undermining our strategic center of gravity. But we have overlooked the strategic center of North Korea, continuing wrong policies which increase internal and external threats. The result of this is the current national crisis which we face. The reason why North Korea has opposed the ROK-U.S. joint military exercises and insisted on the withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Korea is because the strategic center of gravity of South Korea is the ROK-U.S. alliance. On the other hand, the reason why the North Korean regime reacted so strongly against the loudspeaker broadcasts on the border and leaflets sent by private organizations is because the strategic center of gravity of the North is Kim, Jong-un’s leadership.

Therefore, first of all, we need to resume the loudspeaker broadcasts on the border, and protect and support civilian groups’ campaign to send balloons to the North. Furthermore, the North Korean people should be awakened by a freedom and truth offensive, and by means of intelligence operations, to decisively pressure the Kim Jong-un regime. Moon, Jae-in and his allied Kim, Jong-un regime will thereby both be eliminated, and so will pro-North anti-state forces in the South. In this way, the North Korean nuclear crisis and South Korea’s internal implosion crisis will both be solved. Ultimately, as stated in Article 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, “peaceful unification based on the basic order of free democracy” will become a reality, and a new foundation for freedom and peace in Northeast Asia will be established based on a stronger alliance between South Korea and the U.S.
