On Monday, November 6, One Korea Network’s Director, Henry Song, joined the historic swearing-in ceremony of the Special Envoy for North Korean Human Rights, Julie Turner. OKN also had the privilege of bringing a delegation of North Korean defectors resettled in the United States to the ceremony, making it the first time defectors attended a swearing-in ceremony of a high-level government official working on North Korean human rights. One Korea Network looks forward to cooperating with Ambassador Julie Turner and her team to make a positive change to the dire human rights situation in North Korea.
