원코리아네트워크(OKN)는 11월 7일(화) 저녁 6:30시 버지니아 알렉산드리아 소재 한인커뮤니티센터 (KCC) 2층 대강당에서 이신화 대한민국 북한인권국제협력대사와 워싱턴 DC 지역 한인 커뮤니티와의 특별한 첫 번째 간담회 자리를 마련합니다.
독재자 김정은 정권의 끊임없는 도발과 지속적인 인권 침해 및 푸틴, 시진핑 등 다른 독재 정권에 대한 지원이 계속되고 중국이 잔인하고 비도덕적인 탈북민 북송 문제가 시급한 문제로 대두되는 지금, 이번 “이신화 북한인권대사와의 만남”은 워싱턴 DC 지역 한인 디아스포라가 이신화 대사로부터 북한 인권 상황에 대해 듣고 북한인권 활동에 어떻게 참여할 수 있는지 알아보는 중요한 자리가 될 것입니다.

ROK NKHR Ambassador LEE SHIN-WHA Meet & Greet Event with the Korean-American Community, Tuesday, 11/7 at 6:30 pm
One Korea Network (OKN) will be hosting a special, first-ever meeting with the Republic of Korea Ambassador for International Cooperation on North Korean Human Rights, Lee Shin-wha, and the local Korean-American community in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 pm at the Korean Community Center in Alexandria, VA, 2nd Floor Grand Ballroom.
In light of the continuing human rights violations ongoing in North Korea under the dictator Kim Jong Un, the evil regime’s continuing provocations in the region and support for other dictators like Putin and Xi, and the urgent issue of China’s cruel and inhuman repatriation policy of North Korean refugees, this ‘Meet & Greet’ comes at a critical time for the Korean diaspora in the DC region to come and hear from Ambassador Lee on the North Korean human rights situation and to learn how we can all get involved to advocate for human rights in North Korea.
This event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
