July 19, 2022, Washington, D.C. –

One Korea Network (OKN) is participating in the Victims Of Communism Memorial Foundation’s (VOC) annual Captive Nations Summit, on Tuesday, July 19 at the VOC Museum and Headquarters, from 9am to 1pm. “It is a great honor for OKN to participate in VOC’s Captive Nations Summit by having Arthur Lee speak as a panelist. VOC is a great organization doing critically important work, especially as there are still five nations that are under communist rule, including North Korea,” said Grant Newsham, President of KCPAC. “We look forward to more collaboration and joint efforts to educate the public about the reality of communism and socialism, and to promote the VOC’s newly opened Museum on Communism,” said Newsham.

“I am truly humbled, and it is a great honor for me to be a part of the VOC’s Captive Nations Summit’s panel session on the lessons of Ukraine on Captive Nations around the world. It is my desire that the world will remember and work to free the 25 million captive people living in the prison camp that is North Korea,” said Arthur Lee, the DC Regional Director of OKN.
