The most important challenge that the United States is facing in the 21st century is the growing strength and dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party, ruled by Xi Jinping. Xi brought China back to the classic Marxist-Leninism, implemented the Mao Zedong’s one-man dictatorship, and systematically eliminates their political opponent. China’s reformation has ceased, and the private sector is directly controlled by the Communist Party. Through a strong ethnographic nationalism, Xi wants to unite countries that can resist any challenge from home and abroad. China’s ethnic minorities are being dealt with through genocide. Xi’s Communist Party is a new form of a totalitarian police state. Unlike past regimes, like Mao’s, who avoided risk, Xi wants to project China’s dictatorship to the outside world by pursuing coercive foreign and military policies toward the world. Different from Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, and Hu Jintao, Xi’s China is no longer a status quo power, but has become a revisionist state. This situation that we’re dealing with in the United States, its allies, and the liberal international order led by the United States represents an essential change in the strategic environment. Ignoring such a serious change would pose a tremendous risk. Xi is not just a problem for the American hegemony, he is a danger to all democracies in the world.
The fundamental strategic issue for the United States is, whether it’s the Republican or Democratic party, what to do without an accurate guide to this challenge. China is an urgent issue, and the U.S. will be responsible for the policies and implementing those policies on Xi Jinping’s China over the next 30 years that will be the guide to establish an integrated, operational, and bipartisan national strategy.
Trump’s concept of a strategic economy had the personality of a doctrine, but it wasn’t a workable comprehensive strategy. The uncomfortable truth is that China has long had an integrated and internal American strategy, and until today, the strategy has been carried out well and was rational. In contrast, just as the U.S. has shown itself in George Kennan’s containment strategy that was a single and operational strategy to address the challenges of the Soviet Union in the past, but they don’t have one for China yet. The reason why the U.S. finds it difficult to create a strategy for China is that it has no clear understanding of its strategic goals against China. So far, China’s strategic objectives that have been stated included a limited trade war from China’s economic reforms, sanctions against Communist corporations, investment restrictions, and the complete replacement of the Chinese regime. Kennan determined that the Soviet internal structure was fragile, and he expected it to eventually collapse. So, his doctrine was to block the Soviet Union. However, the CCP deeply studied the fall of the Soviet Union and as a result, they became a much more viable political system. So, like the Soviet Union, China’s strategy of self-destructing from within is not as efficient. Likewise, so is the strategy of destroying the CCP, it is extremely difficult to bring down the CCP with 91 million members.
The policy on China also needs the wisdom of George Kennan. There are cracks within the current Xi regime, so there’s no need to create a policy that recognizes the entire CCP as a single target. In the past, the CCP and the United States had a good relationship. What matters now is the fact that Xi Jinping ruined the world before 2013. We need to know that Xi centralized China’s power into his hands. The American strategy should focus on the political context of China dominated by Xi and his inner circle. In order to change their policy-making structure, we need to understand them, need to operate within, and need to take long-term measures to change their political and strategic paradigm.
There are many things to do to protect the American democracy from China’s challenge. To carry out such a strategy, we must understand Xi Jinping’s strategic goals and his strategic goals are as follows:
- To be technologically ahead of the U.S., therefore it will be ahead economically.
- To weaken the American global financial dominance and the dollar’s position.
- To foster military strength in Taiwan, the South China Sea, and the East China Sea to steamroll the United States.
- To weaken the credibility of the American power to make countries that are balancing the U.S.-China relations lean toward China.
- To strengthen relations with neighboring countries through one-on-one meetings, especially by strengthening relations with Russia to eliminate the threat of the West.
- To expand China’s influence in international organizations.
Xi Jinping of the Chinese Communist Party is making great use of the coronavirus pandemic to achieve this goal. They have succeeded in buying off the UN and its affiliated organization WHO. They also worked together with Bill Gates, George Soros, the Clintons, and the American big techs to develop technology and share profits.
Social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic can be explained in three major ways. First, they made it mandatory for public facilities and stores to collect sign-in data to restrict people’s movements. Stage 1 was to develop a sign-in data and stage 2 is the issuance of vaccine identification, which makes vaccination mandatory. They controlled the borders and made it so that they can issue vaccine identification, which gave them complete control over the movements of the people. In addition, they can separate people who have been vaccinated and people who did not within society to manage them.
Second, by restricting the business operation on commercial facilities, they implemented distanced unmanned systems, education, and administrative affairs and distributed disaster relief funds. The implementation of distance learning and administrative work has rapidly developed the foundation of non-face-to-face businesses. 5G-based society-wide dativization, AI and unmanned systems have developed. AI unmanned systems faces strong opposition because they take away jobs from people, but people haven’t shown opposition due to the coronavirus pandemic and sees it as a natural disaster. Using disaster relief funds to control this, it creates a bubble stock market and a bubble real estate economy. Personal and corporate loans will increase as well as debts. Trading national bonds will also increase, which will reach its limits. The healthy financial systems will become insolvent and endangered. Although the Federal Reserve maintains zero interests rates due to the coronavirus pandemic, but if they raise its interest rate by 1%, the market will collapse with more than half of the middle class. That is why we’re afraid of the collapse of the current bubble economy.
If you look at their scenario of the coronavirus pandemic, they will develop AI and unmanned systems to eventually keep people under control and supervision. This is possible based on 5G technology. This will create a huge bubble economy in the current financial system. This will weaken the healthy financial system, covering individuals, businesses and countries. As a solution, from the existing financial system, the central bank, the commercial bank, and in a bill-based money system that leads to customers that will exclude the commercial banks, the central bank will achieve financial reform with a digital currency system that does not directly trade banknotes to customers to write off the existing debt. The goal of this scenarios is not just about the development of unmanned systems, but about the movement of the wealthy.
If the financial system is achieved through the digital currency reform, it’s not a good thing that debt is written off and gone. Before the reform, commercial banks refused to extend loans to prevent bankruptcy and it will increase interest and induce principal repayment. During this time, most individuals, companies or countries will go bankrupt. The biggest economic panic in the last 50 years could come. That is why we have to pay all debts in order to get through this time.
China have already conducted internal experiments on 5G technology, digital currency, and facial recognition technology. Many Chinese companies are going bankrupt under economic pressure from the U.S., but this is not a clear victory for the United States. China is fully aware of the transition to a new financial system, and if the bubble economy is to collapse soon, we should not overlook the possibility of restructuring to reduce the burden on insolvent companies. The CCP is also working together with American big techs as well as globalists like Bill Gates, George Soros, and the Clintons, and we must not forget that they are developing technology together.
When this scenario ends, people will use facial recognition to pay for public transportation, to enter buildings, and to travel abroad. Also, digital currency will be used eventually to make payments using facial recognition as data and the existing currency will disappear. The government will become a large government for this system, just like the CCP, in order to monitor when, where, and what people do. And since national borders will vanish, the environment to create a world government that can manage and supervise the entire world will be given. Jobs like judges, doctors, bankers, cashiers, and cleaners will disappear and AI robots will appear. As well as robot police and military soldiers.
China’s challenge has a clear goal, and its content is very specific.
It’s not that there is no response to this, but their scenario is complete once the 6G era is reached. It is currently impossible to use the system and technology based on 5G. The telecommunications industry, which started in the ‘80s, usually takes four to five years to develop. Over the past four years after 5G was announced, the United States has been trying to gain this technological edge by fighting a war against Chinese technology. 5G is a system that uses conventional communication base stations, but satellite communications systems will be used beginning with 6G. That is why Trump created the Space Force and together with Elon Musk began the SpaceX project. SpaceX has hundreds of satellites all over the planet and prepares for the 6G era.
Unmanned systems and facial recognition technology are being developed by Bill Gates. These AI systems can be smarter than humans and will be always be a danger to the human race. As a solution to this, Elon Musk is developing the Neuralink system. This will help get the most out of the current 10% usage of the human brain and connect computers and humans to send and receive informational data. The aim is to improve human ability to respond to AI robots if they are developed. Storing information into the brain has already been successful. It can be received, but not transmitted, so Elon Musk aims to enable humans to transmit and receive. It seems that fantasy movies are now becoming reality.
Technological advancement in the future is bound to develop no matter who achieves it. However, it’s not technology that’s the problem right now, the question is if a large government is established, will this keep the spirit of liberal democracy and will it remain a free country, not like that of the CCP. It also raises concerns that the middle class will collapse and only the upper class will have enormous wealth. At this turning point, the threat of the Chinese Communist Party is attacking democracy around the world.
As mentioned before, China is an urgent matter, and the United States needs to establish an integrated, operational, and bipartisan national strategy to guide and implement American policies that will be able to cope with Xi Jinping’s China over the next 30 years. The U.S. needs to assist Korea to no longer drift toward China and to repair the Korea-Japan relations in order to take measures to respond to China.
